Akeal Web Site Flash Intro

Akeal a Leamington Spa based band. In 2004 Flipmedia was commisioned to improve their exisiting logo, create a cover for their demo CD and build a simple web site. All of the work includes original photography taken by Flipmedia at gigs, partice session and on location.

The logo was developed from an existing logo, using stronger typeography. The design captured the personality of the band whilst remaining unique and impactful.

Demo CD cover for Leamington Spa based band Akeal. The only Photoshop used in the creation of the image was in the conversion of the image to blue. Featuring the band memebers walking up a well know path in Leamington, the photo was taken on long exposure, firing a hand held flash independant to the camera to ensure the band members face's were exposed correctly.
