Large wild animal park based in Bedfordshire. Part of the Zoological Society of London.

Initially employed on a seasonal contract to aid in the production of advertising material, park literature, educational material and signage for the marketing and education department. Later promoted to a full time contract as Graphics Executive responsible for setting up and managing an in-house graphics facility, producing all of the parks graphics and promotional literature.

Solely instrumental in the two key items of park literature being produced in-house, resulting in a considerable budget saving.

Park Promotional Leaflet. Full colour promotional A3 folding to DL leaflet, initial run of 400,000. Distributed throughout the South of the UK.

Park Guide Book. Full colour 36 page A5 book, entail run of 250,000. With a cover price of £2.50 sold throughout park.

Responsibilities:-

• The production of the park's graphics and promotional literature.
• Liaising with department heads and Chief Executive. Managing work load, prioritising and scheduling jobs. Selecting suppliers and printers.
• Design for print, from initial brief, visual production and presentation, to print ready artwork.
• The maintenance of graphics department Apple Macintosh Computer, related software, peripherals
