In 1994 www.methodmag.com emerged as one of the very first snowboarding websites. In 2000, the legendary Drew Stevenson launched Europe’s first VHS snowboarding video magazine, Method Mag. In 2003 Method launched the first-ever Mag & DVD combo. Three years later method.TV was born.

Lastseason.com a fashion web site based around the concept of selling "last seasons" clothing from top labels at a reduced price.

Flipmedia produced both the initial look and feel for the company, the web site design and developed a full ecommerce system, intergrating Worldpay payment solution.

This website is no longer online uusing the design or system produced by Flipmedia.

Property marketing website, enabling users to market their property. Promoting properties for sale and let, this site is focused on self sale / let properties.

Users may advertise their property or search for properties.

The site is constructed using PHP and MySQL. It includes email functionality that alerts users if properties meeting their requirements are published on the site.

The site uses Worldpay payment gateway to collect the advertising fee's.

Frontline Rail Jam 2009 - LIVE on METHOD.TV

The Frontline Rail Jam took place in Stockholm on the 10th October 2009 @ 17:00 and was streamed live to the internet. Method.tv had exclusive access to the feed from this snowboard competion.

Flipmedia worked with http://www.navicast.net to produce a timed player to make the Frontline Rail Jam available to the visitors of Method.tv. Navicast provided the live feed as a Quicktime stream and Flipmedia produced the system to make this live stream available at the required time.

Method Snowboard Magazine Subscription System

Method Snowboard Magazine 10.1 is out and on sale. Flipmedia produced a simple subscription system allowing visitors to subscribe to Method Snowboard Magazine online.

The subscription system uses Paypal as the payment channel, building buttons for the required price / product combination and resolves payment through Paypal's Instant Payment Notification (IPN) system.

A more complicated implementation was also undertaken for the Method Retailer Package, enabling snowboard stores to sign up to selling the magazine.

Over recent weeks Flipmedia has been working with Method Snowboard Magazine, fixing issues with their two web sites methodmag.com and method.tv

I'm currently in the process of rebuilding methodmag.com - this will be live in the next week or so. The rebuild will enhance and refine the overall design, resolve issues with areas of the content management and lay a strong foundation to enable the site to move forward and respond quickly to the creative requests of the team.

Summer begins but winter is still on the mind

Val d'Isère saw the launch of a new clothing brand, starting with bandanas, Banned inc. A small number of designs were rolled out through the VSPOT snowboard shop and the interest was encouraging. Over the summer I will be working with Banned inc, including the production of the web site, stickers and t-shirts along with more bandana designs.

Bathstore

The new improved store finder is just one of the many enhancements that Bathstore contracted Flipmedia to undertake.

Whilst all of the works that Bathstore contracted Flipmedia to undertake have been completed, I have to remain tight lipped about these until Bathstore are ready to launch them. Over the coming weeks and months these developments will be rolled out and as they are I will shout about them from here.

This contract represents a years worth of development and I can't wait until you can see what has been done.

Bathstore XML Sitemap

Not the sexiest development Flipmedia has undertaken but an all important part of modern search engine promotion.

The Bathstore site is a mixture of Content Management System and static pages, all using PHP. The function that was integrated to create the Google sitemap and crawls the site on a daily basis to ensure the sitemap is kept up to date at all times with no effort or intervention from those who maintain it.

The same functionality is used to create a human readable sitemap.

Bathstore Multimap Integration

Integrate the existing Bathstore Functionality with Multimap store maping service. Every aspect of the Bathstore request to contact system from Brochure request to Quotation request needed to be integrated with the Multimap API. The resulting system provides a robust lead allocation system whilst enhancing the customers awareness of store location.
